Special Commemorative Events: Remembering David Waltz and John Gaschnig

During the Welcome Reception on Tuesday the scientific contributions of John Gaschnig, who died prematurely 30 years ago, will be remembered in a short address by Christian Bessiere.

During the Conference Banquet on Thursday Gene Freuder will give an after-dinner speech in memory of David Waltz, who died earlier this year. His widow, Bonnie Waltz, will be present.
